Alumna wins business journalism award
Anh Ly, a 2006 UNC School of Journalism and Mass Communication graduate, won a 2008 Gerald Loeb Award for excellence in business journalism.
The Loeb Awards, given by the UCLA Anderson School of Management, recognize journalists who make significant contributions to the understanding of business, finance and the economy.
Ly was the lead producer at MSN Money for a series on the rise of the middle class in China, entitled “Keeping Up with the Wangs.”
