How do I register for a seminar? Click on the name of the seminar from this link and click register. You can register and even pay online with a Visa or MasterCard. If you do not see the seminar listed in the menu, please call 919-966-7024. You also can register by mail, fax (919-843-8138) or telephone. What is the registration deadline? Generally, it is a week before the seminar. After the deadline, you must call 919-966-7024 before registering to see if space is still available. Reserved parking is not available after the deadline. What if the seminar I enrolled in gets canceled? We will contact you if enrollment is low and let you know the seminar may be canceled. At least four days before the seminar date, we will contact you about refunds and returning or destroying checks.
Can I cancel my registration and receive a refund? Notice of cancellation must be received at least one week before the seminar to receive a refund.
What is your weather policy? If we decide to cancel a seminar or event because of bad weather, we will offer you the choice of applying your payment to another seminar or receiving a full refund. If we hold the seminar and you decide it is not safe to attend, we will issue a voucher that can be applied to another seminar.
Where are courses held? Most seminars and programs are held in the Freedom Forum Conference Center on the third floor of Carroll Hall on the UNC-Chapel Hill campus. Where do I park? Do I need a parking permit? Most reserved seminar parking is in the Morehead Visitor Lot. If your reserved parking, you do not need a permit. The lot attendant will have a list of names for those who reserved parking. If you see "lot full" signs, please disregard. These signs do not apply to visitors with reserved parking. The lot attendant will direct you toward appropriate visitor spaces within the lot. Where can I park if I didn't reserve parking? If you do not arrive in time to get a spot in the Morehead lot, there are three Town of Chapel Hill parking lots with hourly and daily rates on Rosemary Street. Rosemary runs parallel to Franklin Street (on the north side). The Carolina Inn, which is close to Carroll Hall, also offers hourly parking. Please see this map for additional parking options. |
