Associate Professor Ph.D., Pennsylvania State University B.E., Mysore University, India Associate Professor Sri Kalyanaraman joined the School's faculty in 2002. He teaches courses in communication technology, human-computer interaction and media effects. His research primarily focuses on the psychology of new media and human-computer interaction, media effects of sexual and violent content, information processing of persuasive health messages, and research methodology. Kalyanaraman is Director of the Media Effects Laboratory in the School. His research has been published in journals such as Journal of Communication, Communication Research, Journal of Broadcasting and Electronic Media, and Journal of Advertising. Kalyanaraman has an undergraduate degree in electrical engineering and professional experience in marketing, finance and engineering.
