Educational Content and Web site Developer
Jay Almers joined the school in February of 2008 as the Educational Content and Web site Developer. His responsibilities include the continuous upkeep and improvement of the school's main Web presence, assisting the faculty in the design, creation and implementation of their online presences, and aiding the school in the development and deployment of new Web-based technologies.
Before joining the school, Almers worked for a local wholesale Internet service provider where he acquired the title of director of his newly formed department, creative services. Almers' background in Web site and graphic design and applications development spans the better part of eight years. During that time, he has produced Web sites, corporate identities, marketing campaigns and custom Web-based applications for businesses ranging in size from 1-50 employees to large corporations such as Aventis and Volvo North America.
