Students named finalists in SPJ Region 2 Mark of Excellence Awards

Students in the UNC School of Journalism and Mass Communication have been named finalists in 15 categories of the Society of Professional Journalists’ Region 2 Mark of Excellence Awards.

The actual places awarded will be announced at the region’s Mark of Excellence Luncheon at the spring conference, April 8-9, in Norfolk, Va.

The finalists are listed, by category, below. UNC competes in the 4-year university category of the Mark of Excellence Awards.
