Notification: If you are selected, you will be notified by e-mail on February 7, 2012.
Cost of Trip: $150. Once selected, this amount secures your slot. Hotel and flight expenses are covered, but meals and ground transportation are your responsibility. Payment in cash or check is due by 5 p.m. EST on February 9, 2012 to Amy Bugno in 316 Carroll Hall.

Other important details:

  • Please note that participants must travel to and from the selected city with the group. Also, students must provide their own transportation to and from RDU.
  • The hotel will be in the heart of the city, so appointments should be easily accessible via walking or public transportation. Details on the hotel will be provided at the information session on March 2 in the Freedom Forum Conference Center. You will be assigned to a room with two to three other people, depending on the male/female ratio. Co-ed rooms are not permitted.
  • In order to cover hotel room incidentals, we will ask one person from each room to provide a credit card number. Students are responsible for extra room charges.
  • Your appointment itineraries will be given to you at least a week before the trip, but keep in mind appointments may change up to the day of the trip. We will provide contact information for all of your appointments. We require you to touch base with all the alumni/friends you are scheduled to see. Intro duce yourself by e-mail or phone. Make sure you have clear directions to each office and that you know where to check in once you get to the offices.
